David Yang, Ph.D., co-founder at Newo.ai, founder at ABBYY.com, TEDx speaker, World Technology Pioneer by WEF, California’s 100 Top Founders in the Big Data Space.
David Yang, Ph.D., co-founder at Newo.ai and founder at ABBYY.com, will deliver a keynote presentation titled "The Rise of Digital Workers" at the Digital Worker Forum.
What exactly is a digital worker? How does it differ from an AI chatbot, or just an AI application? How does it stand apart from RPA software robots? What capabilities do digital workers have today, and what are their limitations? What will digital workers be like in one year, and what about in three years? Will they take over the world and leave hundreds of millions of biological workers jobless, or will they rather ensure unprecedented GDP growth, improve quality of life, solve environmental problems, and reduce poverty levels across the globe?
Dr. David Yang, a serial entrepreneur who has founded 13 companies, the creator of an "emotional" AI home with moving walls and robot dogs in Silicon Valley, and a founding member of IDWA.org - the International Digital Worker Association, will address these questions.
In his report, Dr. Yang will also discuss defining the six levels of autonomy for digital workers, analogous to the six levels of autonomy for self-driving cars:
Level 0: No Task Automation
Level 1: Task Assistance
Level 2: Partial Task Automation
Level 3: Autonomous Task Execution
Level 4: Autonomous Task Management
Level 5: Autonomous Problem Solving
